A Voice for Immigrants, Families, and Those Fighting to Be Heard
I didn’t become a lawyer by following a straight line. I became one by surviving the kind of uncertainty, fear, and instability that so many of my clients now face. As a Brazilian immigrant, I’ve lived the reality of navigating a new country, learning an unfamiliar system, and trying to build a stable future against stacked odds. That lived experience sits at the center of my work—because I know what it feels like to need someone in your corner, someone who sees you not as a case, but as a human being whose story deserves respect.
Today, I bring that perspective to Forge Litigation Group, where I focus my practice on immigration, civil litigation, business law, and real estate matters. Whether I’m standing beside someone in immigration court, defending a small business owner facing an unfair dispute, or helping a family keep their home or launch a new venture, I approach every client with the same intention: to protect what they’ve worked so hard to build.
My Journey to the Law
I earned my law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating Cum Laude and receiving both the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and the CALI Award for Excellence for my work in the Immigration Clinic. Before that, I studied Political Science at Nova Southeastern University, where I made the Dean’s List for seven semesters. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Legal Studies & Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science.
But my education didn’t start in a classroom—it started when I immigrated to this country as a young woman. Every experience that followed, from working with families in ICE detention to litigating complex civil and business disputes, shaped the advocate I am today.
My work has taken me into courtrooms, boardrooms, and community centers. It has also placed me at the center of local and national discussions surrounding detention conditions and immigration practices—including interviews with major news outlets such as the Miami Herald, where I spoke about mass detention and the urgent need for humane treatment.
How I Advocate for My Clients
My practice spans several areas, but the heart of my work remains the same: fighting for people who feel unheard.
Immigration
I represent clients in EOIR proceedings, ICE check-ins, ATD compliance, waivers, and both affirmative and defensive asylum cases. Over the years, I have handled multiple immigration matters—each one personal, each one deserving of meticulous care.
Civil Litigation
I litigate complex disputes involving torts, breach of contract, and business conflicts, bringing clarity and strategy to situations that often feel overwhelming.
Business Law
I help entrepreneurs establish strong foundations—LLC and corporation formations, partnership agreements, operating contracts, and mergers. Every business has a story, and I take pride in helping clients protect theirs.
Real Estate
From closing document review to DBPR hearings, I make sure individuals and families understand their rights and options in a system that can be confusing and unforgiving.
Why I Do This Work
Because I've been the person sitting across from a system that didn’t feel built for me.
Because I know what it means to fight for stability, dignity, and the chance to start again.
Because every client who walks through my door is either trying to protect their family, defend their livelihood, or build a better future.
And because working alongside Carlos Gonzalez and the team at Forge Litigation Group allows me to do this work the way it should be done—with heart, with humanity, and with uncompromising advocacy.
A Practice Rooted in Lived Experience, Strength, and Service
My career may not have been linear, but it has been intentional. Every step has shaped the lawyer I am today: a litigator who listens, an immigrant who understands, and an advocate who refuses to let anyone face the system alone.
If you’re fighting for your family, your business, or your future, I’m here to stand beside you—prepared, unwavering, and fully invested in your story.
